So, today's my last day at my job. I start the new one on Monday. I took Friday off to try and detox a bit.
I'm a little sad about leaving. I've met some good people here, and made a couple of friends. I'll miss seeing them everyday.
That's about where the sadness ends, though. Being a temp. for two years sort of undermines any sense of company loyalty, especially when you're one of the top producers (if not the top producer) in the company and are almost completely ignored.
My wushu training is going slow, mostly due to a lack of stamina in my quads. I want to try and finish up my form today, which I know the entirety of, but have yet to complete in one go, since my legs always give out about half-way through. It's not a pleasant feeling, having your body crap out on you!
In a week or two I should be starting weapons training, though I am still unsure whether I'll be learning double broadsword or spear. I'm hoping for the double broadsword.
Wow, I reallly don't have anything interesting to say today! I'ma bounce, before ya'll fall asleep.

Personally, I think you should go for the Steady Bastard Sword, or perhaps the Hardened Iron Sword...oh...you mean for real?
I know! At first, I balked for being taught Broadsword as well!

It's not a career, it's just a job that will give you more money so you can buy bigger toys. :D And gives you insurance so you can spar and know you can get your bones fixed if they snap! ;)
I'd like to think that I'm the one snapping bones, not the other way around. :(
Of course, I'd also like to be bitten by a radioactive spider, but I don't see that happening, either...
