CHOP! SLICE! CHOP! SLICE!

So,

I've been thinking about buying one of the many Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play modules that exist out there, and maybe running it on the weekends. Maybe every-other Saturday, or something. I do not honestly believe that this will come to pass, but it's a nice pipe dream. Chaos mutations FTW!!!

I also think it's funny that, after reading Order of the Stick, Kev also wants to do a little dungeon crawling. I think that he, much like myself, is remembering those days of honest-to-goodness hack-n-slash with a sense of longing nostalgia...nostalgia that is being filtered through a rose-tinted lens that prevents anything but beauty from being observed. In all honesty, dungeon crawls are brutal affairs full of rule-whoring and heated arguments, and when you aren't doing those two things you're being screwed sideways by your DM who has spent an entire week coming up with new and exciting ways to skullfuck you and your entire party.

But for all of that, it's still a lot of fun to say, in all seriousness, "I kill him and take his stuff." And then do it.

I have a job interview on Wednesday which is, as the kids are saying nowadays, "fucking awesome". I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going to rock it like a hurricane; a sexy, Irish hurricane!

My birthday is next week, which I am a little apprehensive about. My birthdays are not typically days of mirth and joy; as a matter of fact, I usually celebrate the illustrious day of my birth by coming down with some sort of illness.

My birthday is also a bit of a marathon event, as there are about four different groups of people that wish to shower me with affection. To say that this can be exhausting is like saying that Mars is cold this time of year, but it's wonderful to know that I'm so blessed.

I believe that my headache is gearing up for an encore, so I'll leave you for now. Peace!
