Celeberetiez lol!!1!

So, I got so angry at the media yesterday I wanted to scream.

I fire up my computer and head over to CNN to see if I could get an update on the Iran situation. For those of you that don't know, Iran kidnapped 15 British sailors, insisting that said sailors were in Iranian waters with the intent of espionage. To say that this has sparked a "national incident" is putting it lightly, and I'm terrified that the US will try and use this as an excuse for war, since they've been scrambling for a reason for more than a year now.

What do I find on the front page? What's the top story? Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy. In fact, finding any information about the situation in Iran is a chore. For a good portion of yesterday, it wasn't even on the front page. That is horrendous. We're a hairs-breath away from another war, our President and our Congress are at each others' throats, the stock market took a horrible plunge last week, our government is spying on us illegally...and the top story is Smith's fucking autopsy? Give a fucking break!

So much for hard hitting journalism. Assholes.

This is an entertaining article about people that have been banned from Saturday Night Live that you might like to take a look at (if you're into that sort of thing). Apprently, Steven Segal is an asshole. Surprise!

I watched Casablanca last night, and man, is that a great film. I found myself wincing at a lot of the classic lines and thinking, "Wow, 'cuz that hasn't been done before," then remembering that this was the film that these lines originated from. It was both entertaining and embarrassing in equal measure.

On a side note, the word "embarrassing" is one I have a great deal of trouble spelling.

Busy week for the ol' Canary. Job interview and Iron Heroes game tomorrow night, birthday dinners on Thursday and Friday, and my actual birthday on Saturday (which is currently devoid of plans). I have a feeling that Sunday will be spent sleeping, something that I don't do enough of as it is. After all, I can sleep when I'm dead.

That's about it for now. Peace!
