In Times Of War is finito

So, I ended my latest D&D game after four sessions.

Why, you ask? Because the group was incompatible. In the three days the characters had been reunited, they had already come to blows on one occasion and had spent hours, both in and out of game, bickering. This came about because nobody listened to anyone else when they made these characters, and as it turned out every character had at least one major problem with somebody else in the party! Example: one character was a necromancer, and another had dedicated his life to the irradiation of the undead.

Realizing this, I created a scenario wherein they would have to put aside their differences or give it up. After their disagreements devolved into physical violence (in-game of course, though it looked like at least one player was contemplating the idea of breaking a chair over another player's head), I realized the whole thing was hosed, and ended it prematurely.

And I hadn't even got to the really good stuff I had planned yet! :D

So now I have to figure something else out. Hopefully this was a learning experience for my players...because if they repeat their mistake, I'll be ready to exploit it.

I don't have much in the way of ideas yet, but that'll change. If worse comes to worst, I can always run Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. Even if it doesn't have a goddamn ending!

I don't have a problem with unfinished things! Honest!

Bastards.

Well Dan thought of a way to save the game, if your still interested that is. Though Castle Ravenlof would be fun too. It has to do with a change to his character (the undead thing) and either replacement of my character or DJ's. DJ and I can talk to see who wants to do what, but thats if your still interested.

btw, GET BETTER YOU BASTARD.

No, because quite frankly it wouldn't be fair to those people that would have to make the changes. I'll just come up with something else. I was winging this game anyway...it wasn't going anywhere special.
